How to Consign?
     *Call for an appointment to bring items by for consignment
     *Complete the Consign Form, attaching photos of items and email to us.  We will respond promptly with a acceptance letter, suggested pricing and available times for pickup or delivery of items.  A nominal pickup fee is determined based on quantity of items.

What type of items are accepted?
     Gently used, good quality home furnishings and accessories such as:
     *upholstered furniture                    *occasional tables
     *dining room furniture                   *window treatments
     *bedroom furniture                        *accessories
     *entertainment centers                   *rugs
     *lamps & chandeliers                     *artwork

What type of items are not accepted?
     *outdated items
     *torn, stained or damaged items
     *mattresses
     *furniture that has to be assembled

How are prices determined?
     *Condition, age and popularity of item
     *Your input
     *Our professionals' suggestion based on ease of resale of item

How long is consignment period?
     *150 days
     *items not sold in 60 days will be discounted 10% of original price
     *items not sold in 90 days will be discounted 20% of original price
     *items not sold in 120 days will be discounted 30% of original price
     *if item has not sold in 150 days, it can be picked up or left at a 50% discount
     *if item is does not sell, it will be donated

How are items marketed?
     *Marketplace @ Main Street website, as well as links from other websites
     *frequent emails to existing client base advertising new products
     *Craigs list, Facebook, newspaper ads, direct mailouts, etc.
     *retail store open in conjunction Main Street Interiors hours and by appointment
     *monthly 3 day weekend sale

What is payment arrangement?
     *Consignor is paid 70% on all items selling for $5000 and up
     *Consignor is paid 60% on all items selling between $500 - $4999
     *Consignor is paid 50% on all items selling under $500
     *Payments for each month's sales are processed for Consignor beginning on the10th of the month following the sale.
